These strong alabaster heads and figures, from what is now modern day Yemen. This example is in the usual symmetrical manner with a very simple definition of features and cavities for inlays; compare with no. 266, from the Queen of Sheba catalogue, ed. St John Simpson, British Museum, 2002.
